NEW CLASS Yin Yoga and Meditation – Starts April 17th! A sweet 60 minute yoga practice broken into two parts. First, we will begin with a short Yin Yoga sequence. Yin style postures are deep stretches that are held in stillness for a longer duration (from 1-10 minutes each). A Yin Yoga practice is quiet and meditative in nature and the postures are designed to target the connective tissues (ligaments, tendons, fascia) of our bodies. In this class we will primarily focus on opening the hips and low back in preparation for the second part of class which is a 20 minute guided meditation. Wednesdays 9-10am at Weaverville Yoga.
